A Pre Columbian Chontal mask with high rounded cheeks and pierced eyes carved from green stone with white inclusions. Sculpted in rectangular form with a prominent brow curving into the nose. Drilled at each of the four corners for suspension. Measures 5 1/2" width x 5 1/4" height. Provenance: The Collection of the Late Jack Goldstein, Cold Spring, New York.
